Exciting events with inspiring girls

1. What did you graduate?

My secondary education is in photography. I have a BA in Media and Journalism and an MA in Public Relations.

2. What are you working on?

I work as editor-in-chief of Jenite.bg. Recently I have started to get more involved in social networking and I plan to turn this hobby into my main job, as I have been dreaming of having my own fashion blog since my student years.

3. What is the project you worked on that you are proud of?

Along my work in Jenite.bg, I created a number of author columns, where we knew the audience with many inspiring women who are real role models and from whom every woman can draw advice and experience.

I'm also proud of what I'm doing now, alongside my personal project Womanlybg. I never suspected that I would have the courage to show up and speak in front of a camera and that is what makes me proud of myself.

4. What advice would you give to a girl who wants to follow in your footsteps in a career plan?

Not to worry so much. From the outside it all seems scary and complicated, but when one gets down to practice one finds that we are all learning as we go. The most important thing is to ask questions while they are still beginners and learning. This will help them gain knowledge but at the same time save them awkward and embarrassing situations in the future. Be observant, "soak up" what you see around you, but still remember yourself and your own perspective and handwriting.

5. What inspires you to get out of your comfort zone?

The excitement I feel every time I try something new. It might be the process of creating a new project, but mostly it's the people I meet along the way that manage to get me excited. Nothing compares to that moment when you say to yourself "If I hadn't tried this, I would never have visited/experienced/met...". All these experiences enrich us and that's why I would advise everyone to try stepping out of their comfort zone more often.

6. How would you define your style?

Feminine. But I definitely have more to learn and apply.

7. Why did you decide to do fashion?

Ever since I was a little girl, I insisted on choosing my own clothes and spent an awful lot of time trying to convince my mother that I wouldn't wear the tracksuit she made me. I admit that the day is not complete for me if I'm wearing a crappy outfit. I'm always the most sweaty, even at family gatherings. I keep getting asked "Why did you dress like that? Are you going somewhere?" It doesn't take a special occasion for me to dress nicely. Maybe fashion just makes me happy and makes me feel like myself.

8. What does being a successful woman mean to you?

To believe in myself and to stop at nothing. A successful woman is not afraid of failure or people's opinions. If we look back more often, we will see how much we have grown and changed in a positive way.

9. A woman who inspires you?

Any woman who believes in herself and "infects" others with her positivity and feminine strength.

10. What contribution do you want to make to society?

I would like to inspire people to be more positive about the environment that surrounds us and to see the beauty, even in seemingly not so attractive things.

11. What would you say to 5-year-old Adriana?

That it can be whatever it wants to be as long as it wants it enough.

12. How do you unload?

I unwind by staying home alone, watching my favorite show with a face mask and making Asian noodles with chicken and veggies just for me, haha. Of course, I love spending time with loved ones. Nothing can compare to that. I also love Girls of Sofia events - they are very relaxing and inspiring.

13. What do you want to achieve in the next 1 year?

I certainly want to build on my Womanly.bg venture. I also want my family to be even better and even happier 🙂

14. Define yourself in 3 words?

Curious, positive and floating in the clouds.

15. What wish do you have for Girls of Sofia?

Always be that positive environment that predisposes the creation of true friendships between seemingly so different girls.
