1. What did you graduate?
BA in International Relations, MA in International Security at the University of Groningen.
2. What are you working on?
Communications Manager at a Canadian NGO involved in refugee assistance.
3. What is the project you worked on that you are proud of?
The first big project I participated in was Reykjavík Global Forum 2021. Organised by Women Political Leaders, where I worked as Communications Officer at the time, the Icelandic Parliament and Government, this forum provides a platform for women leaders from around the world, from different sectors including politics, business, technology, science and media, to collectively influence and shape the future with their distinctive contributions.
4. What advice would you give to a girl who wants to follow in your footsteps in a career plan?
Choose an area that will bring you inspiration and personal satisfaction, because this is the fastest way to success.
5. How would you define your style?
A mix between elegance and daily comfort.
6. What would you say to 5 year old Alexandra?
You will achieve anything you set your mind to. You got this.
7. How do you unload?
Through Girls of Sofia events and/or trips.
8. What do you want to achieve in the next 1 year?
To learn French and move to Paris.
9. Describe yourself in 3 words?
Ambitious, empathetic, intelligent.
10. What ladies can you meet at our events? Can you tell us about an exciting date you had at a Girls of Sofia event?
One of the benefits of a club is that you can find a friend with similar interests through an event you choose to attend. I have made two wonderful friendships this way - with Alexandra and Maria, who I keep in contact with outside of club events. The best part for me is that all the girls of Girls of Sofia are amazing, intelligent and colorful individuals with whom you can start a lifelong friendship.
11. Which of our events have you been to and which is your favourite?
I've been to a lot of Girls of Sofia events, including Oriental dance, Brunch & Vision board making, Sound Therapy, The photoshoot, Yacht party, Cocktail Tasting in Mancó. Each event is done with a lot of thought and is extremely different from the last, so it's hard for me to choose. But I can easily say that I always look forward to the next GoS event.
12. What wish do you have for Girls of Sofia?
I wish the lovely creator to be ever so creative & ambitious & to continue to unite & empower girls from all walks of life for many more years!
